Overview: The Connecticut Office of Tourism manages a robust content marketing and PR program. To support this program, we research, write and promote articles which appear live on CTvisit.com. This program has been the very successful cornerstone of our tourism marketing activity.
Overview: Earlier this month, we launched our summer tourism marketing campaign: Say Yes to Connecticut! After saying “no” to so many things due to the pandemic, we are encouraging consumers to say “yes” to all the wonderful tourism activities in the state—and fuel the industry’s recovery.
Overview: Each year, we hold outreach meetings with the industry to determine how the Connecticut Office of Tourism can help with industry needs. This year, we held virtual meetings per sector, and we are pleased to report that they generated great insights. We met with over 200 Connecticut lodging managers, more than 150 attraction/experience managers, and over 40 restaurant leaders. All meetings were very useful for defining strategies to help our industry partners.
Overview: The 17th annual Connecticut Open House Day is set for Saturday, June 12, 2021, and we don’t want you to miss out on the exposure! Over the coming days and weeks, we will be promoting the event heavily through public relations, social media and on CTvisit.com.
Overview: Connecticut Welcome Centers are officially reopening on May 24, 2021. The centers operate seasonally, mid-May through October each year. During this time, they are staffed with tourism personnel who provide travel assistance and promote things to see and do in Connecticut. Literature is available at each of the sites.
