Overview: As winter approaches, we know the season will be very different this year. Inspiringly, many of you found ways to adapt and even enhance the visitor experience at your properties or events for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Now, we want to know your plans for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s and the entire winter season.
Overview: Thanksgiving may look a little different in this unusual year — but that doesn’t mean you can’t make the day special. To keep your family safe, the state’s holiday guidance recommends smaller gatherings and a few changes to the traditional experience. Luckily, Connecticut’s filled with ways to make this year’s Thanksgiving memorable.
Overview: We just launched a new program encouraging consumers to support tourism businesses during the pandemic — and we need your help to spread the word. This call to action is already being amplified through CTvisit articles, an ongoing press push, and promotion on our social channels.
Overview: The most recent email sent by DECD Commissioner David Lehman is important for many in our industry. Some small businesses and nonprofits are eligible to apply for funding from the Connecticut CARES Small Business Grant Program. All details can be found in the email below.
Overview: As many of you know, last month we launched the Tourism Insights: Tips for Recovery program, a research-based program that generates Northeast-specific insights to support the Connecticut tourism industry’s recovery.
